Not ready for us

Liked: If you are looking for a seaport location, this hotel is perfect. Elevators are fast and efficient.
Disliked: We paid for a large two bed room. Checked in and received a single bed smaller room. Had to go down to the desk. The didn’t have one available. Has to wait for housekeeping to clean a room. When it was ready, we went up. Walked in, a handful of trash, plastic and assorted wrappers was left in the bed. A wooden cover meant to cover the air conditioning unit was on the floor. No body gel in the shower. Obvious that the hurriedly cleaned the room.

Good hotel, and a good...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, easy to get in and out of. It was very clean and the staff were exceptional. It was also across the street from a lovely park with lots of things to do which made it a bonus.
Disliked: In order to turn the bathroom light on, all lights in the hotel room had to go on. This was odd and made for a dark trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The only other issue was the air conditioning. No matter what temperature you had it set at, it was either freezing in the room or ridiculously hot.

Liked: The staff was lovely. Aisha was especially kind and accommodating. She greeted us every time with a huge smile and always had something helpful or informative to say. The gym was great. It was just the right temperature. It was never crowded nor noisy. The Aloft was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do. We will definitely stay there again.
