Liked: The staff was exceptional and accommodated my needs. Beautiful room.
Disliked: I have stayed at a lot of Alofts but this location was the scariest by far, there was a lot of homeless people lurking around. In one instance one of them attempted to enter the hotel. Thank god the hotel has it where you have to have your card to enter. So we took an Uber so our car would remain in the front with security. Although the hotel had it set up where you had to use your card , the outside of the hotel was seedy and least to be desired. I won’t return.

The most unforgettable experience

Liked: The room setup, the mirror, and the shades. Everything was simply beautiful
Disliked: Mini fridge! They need to replace with full refrigerators

Good hotel for tourism

Liked: The location is near the 6th street and South Congress (around 10 minutes from both), so is ideal if you plan to do a lot of tourism. Parking is free. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the interior decor of the lobby is great. The hotel includes a bar and a pool table. Rooms include a clothes steamer. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Do not pay for breakfast, they do not offer any breakfast other than free coffee (which is for all guests). Make sure to book directly if you are a member of Marriott Bonvoy (booking from here means points wont be counted). Avoid facing the road, but note that the pool view can also get a bit noisy in the afternoon but is overall better. Parking lot can get full at night, so make sure to grab a spot when you can. There is no room cleaning service.

Nice Hotel, but left with...

Liked: Nice new hotel. Large room and comfortable bed. Even though it’s near the highway, it was really quiet. Staff were nice, except for……
Disliked: When we checked in we asked for a late checkout. This request was granted, and the agreed checkout time was extended to 2pm. At 12pm cleaner attempted entry to our room. We explained the late checkout and a short time later we were told by the front desk that we had to vacate the room. As we walked past the cleaner she said a disingenuous “goodbye” and laughed at us.

Disliked: Breakfast is organized in a strange way (ordering at reception), parking area not 100% safe.
