Very good

Liked: Modern hotel, good rooms and clean. We liked the gym and pool.
Disliked: Breakfast is organized in a strange way (ordering at reception), parking area not 100% safe.

Newish hotel at decent car-based...

Liked: Decent location, good proximity to highways and good neighborhoods, car is necessary area is not walkable at all. Things were generally clean and functional.
Disliked: The biggest frustration was a seeming humidity problem. The AC wasn’t regulating the humidity and there was no working exhaust in the restroom. That combined with a downy comforter made for sweaty sleep.

Good hotel for tourism

Liked: The location is near the 6th street and South Congress (around 10 minutes from both), so is ideal if you plan to do a lot of tourism. Parking is free. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the interior decor of the lobby is great. The hotel includes a bar and a pool table. Rooms include a clothes steamer. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Do not pay for breakfast, they do not offer any breakfast other than free coffee (which is for all guests). Make sure to pay at the property if you are a member of Marriott Bonvoy (prepayment means points wont be counted). Avoid facing the road, but note that the pool view can also get a bit noisy in the afternoon. Parking lot can get full at night, so make sure to grab a spot when you can. There is no room cleaning service.

I wouldn’t stay again because...

Liked: The hotel itself was cute and fun. The room was nice and my son loved it. The gym was pretty nice
Disliked: The location was extremely sketchy. We had a man attack us in our car just outside the parking lot. The hotel is backed up right next to what seems to be a crack motel. You can hear the loud freeway all night. We asked for a refund and changed hotels after the first night. I should’ve known when the front doors had locks to the lobby. The pool area wasn’t worth experiencing.

The hotel is nice friendly...

Disliked: The location is a little sketchy. There is a well beaten down foot path around the hotel from homeless people..
