Liked: Front desk Khalid was very welcoming friendly and got us checked in promptly, effectively and with a smile. He added the Marriott points to our account. Also gave us a welcoming gift for being Marriott members and treat for our Dog. He is a keeper since I saw many guest being helped by him. Also like the fact that has Air conditioning that works perfect, great bathroom with a comfortable shower and distribution on the bathroom with doors to separate toilet. ON the room the fact that has wood floors makes it look clean; has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The size of the TV is perfect ( about 65 ") and has all the services you expect. Feels very safe, has easy parking at the hotel and the area outside has great park close by to walk the dog with poop bags /trash can. Has also restaurant with great service. In summary great place to stay.
Disliked: I think everything was ok and don't have any complaints or suggestions.

Liked: This is one of my "go to" hotels. I like the people who work there and I like being mid-town. It's fun and you get decent quality outside of summer when the rates go up everywhere. Pool, hot tub, gym.A recent power surge locally knocked out the settings on the hot tub. It was 106* when we tried to get in and we weren't even able to because of the heat. My wife talked to one of the maintenance personnel and he confirmed that the pre-set temperatures were not correct due to the power surge. Went on to correct it and we had a lovely soak later in the evening.
Disliked: The rates in summer are really high. It doesn't seem like it has anything to do with occupancy. As an Alaska resident and Bonvoi Premier I try to support the narrative and stay where I like to stay but I just can't do it all the time. Give Alaskans a break please. We support you in the winter as well.Also, I accidentally left our vehicle unlocked outside due to error. Likely unhoused folks or homeless if you will. I'm only thinking of them based on what they took. Took what was out in the open. Empty cooler bags as we planned to shop for freezer stuff to take home down the road. A set of sunglasses, a small backpack with suntan lotion and a visor. A collapsible luggage trolley my Mom uses to roll her elderly dog on when in a carrier. Couple blankets, half rack of Twisted Tea, bug spray and some other little stuff. Left more than they took really because there was more in the vehicle. That's totally on me and I take full responsibility because I didn't successfully lock up. But I would warn other folks to make super sure you lock up your vehicle at this hotel. First time it's happened to me in almost 25 years coming and going from Anchorage staying in hotels while shopping to bring groceries home. Parked on the West side of the building, the side with the bank.I really like this hotel. I really dislike being robbed.Josh
