Good value and convenient place...

Liked: There was a good range of buffet breakfast food. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was a good size and was comfortable.
Disliked: Overhead lighting n the room was poor. This made it difficult to read other than when sitting in bed using the bedside lights.

Lovely comfy, safe accommodation

Liked: We stayed in a small double for 2 nights. The lady on checkin was very polite....as were all staff members that we came across. The hotel was very comfortable. The room was lovely and suited us. We didn't have a view as such....room 225 which looked out onto another building and the building next door but that did not matter to us. The bed was comfy and the sheets clean. The shower was powerful and hot. The hotel felt very relaxed and I would have been happy there as a solo traveller, even though I wasn't on this occasion. We have booked to visit again in October.

Liked: Easy to locate, friendly reception, good-sized comfortable room, dog friendly, excellent breakfast. Great for a stopover if breaking up a long journey, we were travelling from Wirral to St Ives

Perfectly nice hotel

Liked: Very friendly welcome on arrival Good breakfast buffet- not included Pleasant room, clean and quiet Comfortable sleep and served the purpose of somewhere reasonable and convenient to stay after an event. We would stay again
Disliked: We had to go back to reception and ask for essentials such as toilet rolls as these hadn't been replenished. Apparently there are staff shortages but no problem getting what we requested Not a very nice outlook from some rooms
