Clean and very smart looking. Excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it.

Clean, comfortable & good value.

Liked: Location was excellent for visiting local National Trust properties. Parking available on site. Breakfast was hot buffet style, well presented in a comfortable dining room. Staff that I came into contact with, were helpful and professional. Good value for money.
Disliked: Only drawback was the fact that evening meals were not catered for. However, staff helpful in recommending restaurants.

Liked: Really friendly staff, bar onsite and close to Manchester airport...like the free parking.
Disliked: Rooms need updating, but this didn't affect my stay.

Very clean, quiet and welcoming....

Liked: The Alma Lodge was in a great location, and was clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a fan available, which was very welcome given the heat outside. The hotel was relaxed and quiet.
Disliked: The lack of a lift might be a problem for guests with mobility issues. Despite having a sign outside saying that the Lodge had a restaurant, they only served afternoon tea, so getting an evening meal was a little challenging. However, the staff were able to recommend local options and the hotel is well-served by local takeaways.
