A wonderful 3 star hotel....

Liked: The bed is very comfortable! Small hotel and straightforward. The parking is just perfect as well. A quiet corner that secluded from the hassle and bustle of the old town. I could recommend this 100%
Disliked: There is no exhaust in the bathroom.

Disliked: No safe in the room No drinks facilities in the room. ( although this was provided 1-9pm on a landing )

Disliked: The staff. They were not very friendly. When we asked about air con as some of the previous accommodation we stayed at had no air con. They remarked that they have air con and this wasn’t China. Although we are from Singapore and not from China, we would like to point out that this wasn’t unnecessary.

Liked: Great location, clean, updated and comfortable room.
Disliked: Room was a bit small for the high price and breakfast was not included. Staff was not unfriendly but a bit indifferent.

I loved staying at Allobroge...

Liked: The location is 5 minutes walk from the old city. The room and hallways are fashionably decorated and clean. The breakfast had a nice spread of fruit, coffee/tea, croissants, granola, cereal, cold cuts and cheese, whole-grain bread and jams and eggs which can be boiled as you like. I especially liked that there were individual little dishes for spooning your choice of jam into. (Less cross contamination.) I also liked that there was coffee/tea available between breakfast and dinner.
Disliked: The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan.
