So much potential to be...

Liked: Great location and car park and the hotel has much potential.
Disliked: It is a great building but urgently in need of a complete make-over. It is very tired and such a shame as it could be so much better!

Disliked: Our room was dirty, furniture broken & in the recent heatwave our air con did not work. We asked to leave within 5 minutes of arriving and were told we could not! They told us “it was not their problem” Utter shambles, dreadful dated, dreary place

Beautiful & historic building in...

Liked: Beautiful building, good spaces, generous bedrooms & great location. Great to have a car park whilst sightseeing in the region.
Disliked: Carpet throughout is very stained giving a dirty feel and bedrooms/bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Service desk was perfunctory and a smile would go a long way but some staff were helpful. Well set up for conferences and there were large groups but it seemed a little impersonal for individual travellers. Great to have breakfast included though it was prescribed & although fresh there was very little room for variation over 4 days.

Liked: The middle is just like the picture. Really nice place. Amazing lounge space and really beautiful location next to the ‘como’ of Lille
Disliked: Stuff in the rooms was quite old. Bath placed under a sloping ceiling so can’t shower standing straight or even comfortably.
