Liked: We were only there 1 night, but has dinner and breakfast. Both meals were the best. Our family rank the meals, rooms, restrooms and staff. The meals at the Allanton stayed at the top of our list the whole trip. If you are looking to get away in a nice cozy atmosphere with service and food. Allanton is the place for you.

Cycle tour of Northumbria and...

Liked: Location, very handy for cycling to catch a train home from Berwick. Good range of food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Secure cycle storage in the garage. Beer and wine were both excellent. Good with allergies.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Enjoyed a great meal in a very pleasant atmosphere and then slept well. I'm sorry I couldn't stay for breakfast.

A lovely place to stay

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Stayed at Allenton Inn back in 2020 and standard still as high. Friendly staff with warm welcome. Nice quiet room and comfortable bed.Evening meal was beautifully cooked. Compliments to the chef.
