Rooms recently updated - lovely...

Liked: I stay here maybe 2 or 3 times a year for work. The night manager is excellent, particularly as I often arrive very late at night. Room is of good size, bed is really comfortable, shower always hot. Breakfast is excellent. The building work has been going on for a long time BUT the hotel is really quiet and the work doesn't affect your stay at all; this time I was in one of the recently updated rooms - nice job :-)
Disliked: The pillows are really hard (but I am really fussy about pillows)

Liked: The staff were amazing, so helpful all over the hotel. We were very well looked after.Very clean and comfortable stay.
Disliked: Nothing

It was surprisingly good quality...

Liked: bed was comfortable spacious clean , enjoyed breakfast full english used spa facilities indoor pool was cool not warm had a sauna jacuzzi and steam room
Disliked: only surprise was you have to pay if you want a cuppacino . Had dinner menu was a bit limited but food was ok, would like to see more options could have me nice pictureonthe walls to create ambience in the dining area bedrooms
