Great hotel

Liked: Clean, comfortable beds, great location, good spa. Good sized room . Lots my of storage. Close to Bury at Edmunds for food restaurants and bars.
Disliked: Limited food choices in restaurant. Only 4 main courses at dinner. They wouldn't do an omelette at breakfast, although the waitress was very helpful and tried her best to make it happen with the chef. The bar shut at 9pm on Sunday

Liked: Loved the setting, views, spa and staff. All brilliant.
Disliked: EV chargers not yet ready to use.Hopefully they'll be set up soon

I stay here for work...

Liked: Checked in and immediately asked to change my room as the original one was dark and gloomy. In all fairness I was swapped with no hassle to a much better room. Plenty of parking, the gym here is absolutely excellent and the food is good if on the expensive side e.g. one artisan chocolate on the dinner menu, £2. which I think is a lot. Breakfast is borderline average with little imagination but there is a choice and a hot menu too.
Disliked: The rooms in the 300's overlook the restaurant and a golf tee so they don't feel very private unless you drop your window blind negating the views. And on that subject, no curtains, only blinds that let light in at the sides if you're a light sleeper. No bottled water in the room or even a carafe to fill up from the water coolers they have in reception. The rooms can be noisy and on this stay I was woken by the neighbour who was very decidedly ill at 3am. Not the hotels fault exactly but after such a big refurb they could have soundproofed the rooms maybe?

Liked: The staff were brilliant. My wife has mobility issues and they made sure our room suitable and reserved a car parking space for us.The room was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was really clean and well equipped.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Only a small thing but there are no signs in the new part of the hotel to help find your room.A little pricey, if the cooked breakfast was included, rather than a continental one, it would feel better value for money.
