Align Inn Vermont

I happened to stay in this hotel by chance. I was not able to get reservations closer to Dartmouth and was given the information for this hotel. I was extremely surprised. They had not just a continental breakfast but make your own waffles, eggs and sausages. Front desk staff very friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were the cleanest I have ever had in a hotel. Hotel was within walking distance to shops and Quechee gorge. Full service dining on premises and Pizza Chef with minature golf next door. Plus they are pet friendly which is good for us as we have 2 small dogs. Very enjoyable experience and we will stay there whenever we are in the area. Highly recommend it and it is easy access to Dartmouth by interstate.

Liked: Excellent location to everything in Quechee. It was very clean and quiet.
Disliked: Breakfast buffet was good except for microwave sandwiches. Would have liked scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage instead.. Was there 3 days and on our last day was surprised & happy to see a bowl of fresh fruit. Would have loved that every day

Liked: Friendly staff, good location for a stopover in New England. Room was clean and comfortable but had weird lighting. I was glad the staff had turned the AC on and low before I arrived as it was a humid and hot day.
Disliked: It's right on a slightly busy road, so rooms facing the road will hear that noise.

Superb

Liked: The young woman at the front desk when we arrived was very helpful and personable. I wish I could remember her name. Our room was in the back and it was very quiet with no road or construction noise. Breakfast was good with numerous options. I like the breakfast area, open and comfortable.
Disliked: I don't like uncarpeted floors in hotel rooms. I feel the "grit" on my feet when there's no carpet and feel the need to always brush off my feet before getting on or into the bed. I don't think it's possible to wipe the floor so thoroughly that this "grit" isn't felt.

A convenient place to stay...

Liked: Location is perfect for visiting Quechee Gorge and Simon Pierce glassworks. Room was attractively redecorated and had good lighting and convenient places to recharge phones and iPads. Front desk staff were welcoming and professional.
Disliked: The grounds outside the rooms away from the road were very unkempt. The gutters had weeds growing out of them! TV was really tiny compared to two other hotels we stayed in on this trip at similar price points.
