Three nights near Traverse City

Liked: The hotel and the room were both clean, well-designed and with cute decorative touches. We appreciated the large list of suggestions we found of what to do and where to eat. The room was also cool thanks to the A/C. Our bed was a large king-size which was perfect for us. Our room faced the street so there was some street noise, but the A/C drowned that out quite well. The property is in a great location to drive downtown or to Sleeping Bear Dunes.The property is directly on a private beach with plenty of chairs available, despite us visiting during the high season.
Disliked: The shower pressure wasn't the greatest, but there were no issues with the temperature. Even though we didn't hear a lot of noise from neighboring rooms we could hear footsteps on the floors above us quite well.The price is steep (even excluding breakfast) and the room was missing some things we had expected to be included in the price, like bottles of water (there was a vending machine but the water wasn't free) and flip-flops to use when going to the beach. A bathrobe was provided however.

Disliked: The gym was miniscule. The rooftop bar/restaurant was nice, BUT the food wasn't so great.
