Liked: The room was perfect for our needs, comfortable and close to public transport. The train station and tram stop is a 5 minute walk. Restaurants, pubs and shops are a short walking distance. Finding the motel was very easy as well.

This is our new, regular...

Liked: This is a standard 60’s, family run, old fashioned motel. It is nicely maintained with a renovated, very nice bathroom with a huge basin top to set your cosmetics bag on (with room to spare), and a fantastic light and mirror!! We had a twin room so the beds were good but more kid oriented. The heating was wonderful, great tv and wifi. The best advantage is the location! It really is the best location if you want to take the train or tram into the city and are coming in from the west, (and have had enough of Melbourne traffic)! The train station is right across the road and manned! Yes! You heard correct! You can buy a card and load it without dealing with apps that don’t work and machines that make you crazy! It is on a main road but we did not hear any traffic noise.
Disliked: The website could be improved, we would have preferred a double bed and a single or a connecting room, but couldn’t find the option on the website. The walls are a bit thin and the person next to us was really sick and coughed night and day which was annoying. But it is an older motel and our room had a connecting door, so avoid that room.

Disliked: There was a toaster. But no knives. So a bit pointless having a toaster. Also wish there were bowls.But apart from them 2 things. Was very happy.
