Liked: The breakfast was great and an unexpected find, the service even better. Delightfully appointed rooms and nice amenites.
Disliked: Minor issue but mattress seemed to sink in the center. We stayed in Marthas room.

Liked: It was a unique experience. We were treated so well and got to learn the history of the house and family. We were in Winona for a family wedding and decided to stay here. Having grown up in Winona we had passed the house but never had a chance to go inside. Richard is an excellent cook and host! The wonderful breakfast gave us time to have interesting conversations with the other guests.

Liked: Property was beautiful. Very clean. Our suite felt so homey and comfortable. We had early AM departure for a vacation so did not get to partake in the breakfast. I have heard it is unbelievable. We will return in the future. Even though we live 30 miles away. 😃Magnificent historic home.

Liked: Inn keeper was very friendly, told poignant stories, and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. Oh, and he is a great cook also. No lunch required after one of his wonderful breakfasts.

Liked: A caring and thorough host. Exceptional breakfast great attention to detail. I appreciated how much he cared about each individual guest as well as his pride in the history of the home
Disliked: Outlets in bedrooms to charge devices. Only had an extension cord and it had loose connections so did not workMaybe a little less talking at checkin. I really needed a shower after a long day of exercising!

I only wish I’d discovered...
