Adequate, wouldn’t stay more than...

Liked: Breakfast was fine, location was beautiful, very clean room.
Disliked: The stairs to the rooms are very steep, the pillows for the bed cushion sized making for a fairly restless night as every time we moved the pillow had to be moved again. No English breakfast tea.

Great place to stay near...

Liked: Great and friendly staff. Well appointed historic building.
Disliked: The hotel has no lift and the stairs are quite steep. They are unable to fix this due to the historic nature of the building.

Liked: Loved the size and cleanliness of the room - for the price we paid it would have been nice to have a bath robe and slippers.Breakfast was very tasty and satisfying.The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Our room was on the third floor, so walking up to the room, particularly at the end of a long day, was a little tiring - a lift would have been helpful. The 'reception area' was a little tight. However, these issues were not 'deal breakers'. We still had a lovely time.

Liked: What a stunning hotel, beautifully decorated. We were very lucky to be given an upgrade and the room we were given was beautiful (the bathroom was exceptionally decorated). The location was perfect and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. A perfect stay.
Disliked: Nothing - it was wonderful!
