Nice quiet remote spot for...

Liked: The location is quite remote and so it is quiet with a great view of the Quantock hills. The breakfast was in-room: pastries, pots of yoghurt and porridge, orange juice, tea/coffee facilities. The room was fairly small, well suited to an overnight stay but not somewhere to hang out during the day. The place looks like it is mainly a wedding venue with facilities for individual travellers. Overall, good quality and value for money

Liked: Fantastic location, lovely accommodation with plenty of character, stunning scenery and grounds. Lots of lovely flowers, nooks and areas to explore. Some really lovely family history to the property and very tastefully done.
Disliked: Could do with a bath mat.

Very bad night sleep. No...

Liked: The location was beautiful
Disliked: Omg, I can’t believe there wasn’t any curtains! Worst night sleep ever. Ruined our holiday , because didn’t sleep very well before the flight. The blinds inside don’t do anything for the light which is coming from outside car park. And honestly, you can hear your neighbors, you can hear everything. So , if you are traveling to Bristol Airport don’t stay here, because you won’t sleep properly. And breakfast is misleading. It wasn’t a frie-up, it’s just few croissants and orange juice. Disappointing

Disliked: Blackout blinds or curtainsDon't let people park right outside their apartment their lights woke us up. That together with the cars on the gravel drive meant for little sleep. We stayed to get some sleep before an early morning flight. We went to bed at 8pm to do this. However the other 3 apartments arrived throughout the evening up to midnight. The noise of the cars and as they parked right outside meant we did not get any sleep. Way too hot needs air con or at least a fan. Room thermostat never dropped below 29 degrees
