Very pleasureable. The small room...

Liked: Staff and hotel position were excellent. Very helpful and would go over and above to answer your needs
Disliked: The room was extremely small. There was no extractor working in the bathroom. The bathroom did not have a window so unable for the towels to dry. We like to shower in the morning before breakfast and evening before going out to dinner. So getting the towels dry is a must. If the extractor had been working that would of helped

Great location, especially if you...

Liked: Amazing location close to Muntplein and Rembrandtplein. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked having access to a fridge, washing machine, and dryer. It was a bit noisy on the street outside but totally normal for that part of Amsterdam. The staff are really lovely and helpful.

Disappointing

Disliked: Extremely small room and bed. Could barnet pass the bed to get to rhe bathroom

Liked: Location plus helpfulness and warmth of (most) of the staff
Disliked: Whilst the majority of the staff were welcoming, helpful and professional we were disappointed by the poor attitude of the barmaid Anastasia. We returned to the hotel just after 11. The bar was quiet and she was clearly frustrated to have new bar customers appear. She said she was unable to serve spirits as it was after 23.00 hours. When I pointed out that the this hadn’t been the case on the previous evening she reluctantly poured me a vodkas but her manner was curt and bordered on rudeness. My partner asked her why her attitude was so poor and she replied “you need to understand I’ve had a long day”. No apology from her. Subsequently the receptionist who had witnessed this came over and he apologised to us for her attitude. Her manner was totally in contrast to the high standards of service demonstrated by her colleagues and it put a dampener on what had been an otherwise great experience

Great position, disappointing room facilities

Liked: The position was extremely central, literally 15 min walk to most sites.
Disliked: Facilities, we were on the 8th floor, lift took forever to come up. Tv was out of sink, mouth moving then talking. With literally a few channels.Breakfast was overcrowded and ridiculously expensive.No refrigerator in the room.
