The staff were friendly and...

Liked: The location was perfect, peaceful and rural but in easy reach of Shrewsbury.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like. Our room was lovely. We had to climb stairs to access it on the second floor but we knew that before we went, it’s often the way with such historic properties, and it was well worth it.

didnt go due to safety...

Disliked: I was informed on the sunday (day of my arrival) - there would be no staff on duty..I would be given a code to enter the building and the room key would be left in the door. I considered this to be very unsafe, unprofessional and sadly lost my money. I decided to stay elsewhere.

Liked: Comfy bed, great shower, quiet and peaceful with view over fields

OK but a pub would...

Liked: The main building is old and interesting along with the grounds with black swans in a pond!
Disliked: I did not get a garden view room which I thought I paid for. The rooms are in a new block but that is understandable. There was only a fish and chips option for dinner!

Mixed experience

Liked: The setting and building are lovely.The toiletries were good..
Disliked: Very limited choice on the continental breakfast.Coffee was not good.

Location good hotel tired staff...

Liked: Breakfast was ok garden very nice and terrace
Disliked: Room tired tables not cleared on terrace ashtrays left outside for hours

Good value for money

Liked: I ask for a upgrade with my room and I got one thank you .We did not have breakfast because we had to leave early and they did not do breakfast at the weekend before 8.
Disliked: Nothing
