Liked: A classic, unique hotel and a place to experience as much as stay at. There are few independent places left like this and we were very well looked after. This family run hotel is a great charismatic find with inventive decor and filmic lounge, chess set at the ready. The bed was comfortable and an upgrade for more space nicely given.I would not want to stay anywhere else in Windham.
Disliked: There is a slight sense of overrating. The lovely inventive breakfast had flaws, the advice and directions were not as up to the insistetent confidence with which they were delivered. The value for money was OK, but not astonshing. The room upgrade we were told on checkout, had not been charged for, almost as if we had requested it when the original room was fine.
