Was wonderful...

Liked: The breakfast was a perfect addition to an already wonderful stay.
Disliked: If I could add that a fan in the room on the East side of the building would be much appreciated. It got very warm in the room, despite the built-in sytem.

Liked: All staff so lovely and helpful. We could leave our bags there as we had a 2 day break to go to Aquileia. Good location close to many eating places and closes to buses. Easy walk to the main attractions but far enough away to get away from the crowds!

A traditional place to stay...

Liked: A small traditional hotel in a pedestrianised area of the city, so the room was very quiet overnight allowing a good night’s sleep. The room wasn’t very big but the bed was comfortable and there was a fridge. The breakfast staff were very helpful over a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave too early to sit and enjoy it.I liked very much that I was not asked to pay when checking in, but at the end of the stay as we were leaving.
Disliked: A better choice of bread at breakfast would have been good. There was a lot of cake and sweet things but only boring white rolls.The doors of the shower cubicle didn’t close properly so that the floor got wet.The room was accessed from outside the building onto a roof terrace - not so good in the pouring rain!

I could live here.

Liked: The breakfast 5 star. The best cappuccino in Trieste. The breakfast room staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. After 3 weeks I feel very special from their service.ǰ
