In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin this 3-star property features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel's estate. As there is NO LIFT in the property all rooms are accessed by stairs only and each room with attached bathroom comes with cable TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi is available throughout the building. Located near St Stephen's Green Albany House is a fully nonsmoking and privately owned residence. Liked: The hotel is housed in a magnificent building, in a unique location in the city. The breakfast was very well prepared, served in a beautiful hall and the staff was helpful and polite.

Nice small hotel close to...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Location close to parks and nice walk to central Dublin. Clean room. Very good breakfast.
Disliked: No air conditioning. Night club across the street with noise from music and people congregating outside until 2am (and as result choosing between hot room with no A/C or excessive noise).

Old fashioned hospitality and attention...

Liked: Breakfast was really excellent , and superb value for 5 euro each. Staff friendly,attentive, and in no rush. Old fashioned hospitality that you hardly ever find theses days, especially in the city. Loved it
