Super small bathrooms, no AC

Liked: The small lobby looks nice
Disliked: If you like showering and using the bathroom in a closet, that’s what you get. The rooms are OK no AC. The breakfast isn’t very good compared to other places I’ve been in Ireland. Housekeeping is very hit or miss. We have had to go days without because they don’t get around to our room in time. But once again, the bathrooms are terrible. I would look for something different.

Highly recommended

Liked: Great location, lovely old Georgian house. Good continental breakfast. Friendly/informative staff. Luas close by. Walk to Iveagh Gardens, St Stephen's Green, Grafton St, Trinity College. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops.
Disliked: Room was small (cozy?), but to be expected for an old building.

Comfortable, Georgian era Guesthouse with...

Liked: Beautiful Georgian architecture. Close to Stephen’s Green, shopping, Trinity College, restaurants. Well appointed bathrooms.Good choice of breads, fruit, cheese, yogurt and other healthy food for breakfast.
Disliked: There was noise from the night club across the road that went on until early morning. The carpet on the stairs was very worn and ragged.

Beautiful central location in Dublin...

Liked: It’s a great location. Central walking to St Stephan’s Green & Trinity College. Also convenient to public transport. The hotel is beautiful & service is friendly
Disliked: No N/C. Our room was very hot (a rarity I’m sure) & we had to leave the windows open which then made it a very noisy. Without this item, I would have given the hotel a 10

Good

Liked: Excellent location.
Disliked: Breakfast was quite bad. But main issue was that, on arriving, I discovered the pillows and duvet were made of feather/down, to which I am allergic. When I went to reception to tell the staff, the person was kind and went to get a replacement, but instead of sorting it out somewhere else and bringing the replacement bedding to my room , he proceeded to bring the duvet and duvet cover to the reception and tried to fit the duvet into the cover right there, dragging the bedding on the floor of the reception. He then started stepping on the duvet cover in his attempt to fit it, at which point I had to tell him this was unacceptable. He then brought a new one to my room and I fitted it myself. Well intentioned but clearly poorly trained in hotel service!

Good not great

Liked: The size of the bed and the room was really surprising and comfortable and we liked the general location. Water pressure was great.
Disliked: Things didn’t feel 10/10 clean. There was some mold in the shower, for instance. The pillows were quite flat and flimsy. While a great location, there are really loud night clubs nearby.

Great stay and location for...

Liked: Loved the location. Close to city centre but far enough away from the bars that it wasn’t too disruptive while trying to sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: The room needed updating and the shower needed a good deep clean.

Clean rooms and walkable to...

Liked: A good location and friendly staff!
Disliked: There was a bar that’s open late across the street, but with ear plugs it wasn’t too bad.
