For the price, this place...

Liked: Location was great for going to OHSU. Our room was nice, clean, & comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. I slept with ear plugs in so I would get a good night's sleep. My friend heard traffic & noises all night & I did offer her ear plugs!! Traffic SUCKS in Portland!! We were not used to driving on old, NARROW residential streets to get to the medical centers. Overall, I will stay here again. The continental breakfast was very simple & plain. Costco muffins cut in half, coffee & I think juice.
Disliked: No elevator to get up to the 3rd floor!!

Very good

Liked: Basic room, super clean, easy location. Outstanding staff both evening and morning. Excellent for an overnight stay and will return.
Disliked: Sat night meant it was loud. Walls are thin. No bath towels, just handtowels.

Disliked: It needs new carpet and needs cleaned better. I found old gum stuck to head board, and what looked like urine on the floor in bathroom.

Disliked: Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. There was a strong musty smell in the room. The carpet was visibly dirty and in need of serious cleaning. After the first night, I woke up with several bites that appeared to be from some kind of insect, which raised serious concerns about hygiene. I would not choose to stay here again.

Good lodging outside of central...

Liked: The Aladdin was a quiet and comfortable stop in my travels. My room was a good size and the price was decent. The location is good as you can hop on the freeway or walk to public transportation.
