Liked: Friendly service and when they thought I was cold in my room at night they offered to move me to a warmer room. Room 4 is actually warm at night, as long as you have your heater going. Yeah, ummm not my brightest moment that's for sure! Just so you know you have to keep turning your heater on via a button next to the light switch, next to the entrance door. After freezing my toosh off, I decided to investigate the reason my toes were frozen. I read the instructions on the heater and....well you'll see when you get to the Alabama Hotel. I enjoyed every moment there and didn't even mind sharing the shower. The place is clean as a whistle. It's cosy and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hobart.
Disliked: The stairs. When you arrive, there's a set of stairs up to the Hotel. To be honest with you the stairs aren't bad at all. There's about 20 steps, so I don't recommend to anyone in a wheelchair. Otherwise there's nothing bad about the Alabama Hotel. Oh the toilet paper, it was a little rough, lol.
