Liked: The staff made a pleasant comfortable clean and convenient stay into a warm and comforting experience. Excellent value for a modest sized facility. Especially appreciated the walkable restaurants, friendly suggestions and extra conveniences arranged by the management. Definitely a place to stay again.
Disliked: We do like rooms that are more spacious but this one was exactly as represented so no complaint

Friendly staff and a spacious...

Liked: This hotel is in the perfect location for anyone traveling south. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, making the stay pleasant.
Disliked: Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find stains on the bed sheets and numerous small flies on the sofa bed. We immediately reported the issue and were promptly given clean bedding, which was appreciated.

Good

Liked: We stayed at this hotel as a group of three people and a dog. We arrived around midnight and were glad to find someone still at the reception. In case no staff is available, there's a phone number posted to call someone for assistance.The room was small, but we managed to fit all of us in. The receptionist told us that the key card machine wasn't working, so whenever we all left the room, we had to ask the staff to let us back in. It wasn't ideal, but the staff were helpful and responsive.Breakfast was available until 10 AM. There was a wide variety of food, but unfortunately, nothing was labeled. I was looking for lactose-free options and ended up choosing bread, jam, muesli, and coffee, which worked fine for me.The location is convenient if you're traveling by car. The airport is just a few minutes away - we picked up a friend there with no hassle. There's also a tram stop nearby, which probably takes you into Lyon.Would I stay here again in a similar situation? Probably yes - unless I found a cheaper place with better conditions.

Exceptional

Aka Lodge Hotel Review

Liked: I liked that the check in and check out process was smooth and easy. There were no additional charges other than city tax and the breakfast spread was decent. I'd say this property did a good job for our stay. There are some things that could have been better but overall for a 1 night stay, it was a pleasant experience. I also appreciated that I requested a city view and the hotel gave me a stadium view which was the main attraction.
Disliked: The room size was a little small and there was no tea or coffee station in the room. The cleaning of the room also could've been a bit better but there were no major issues.

Superb

Liked: I fully rcommend this hotel, everything was ok and Tifenn on reception vas very nice and helpfull all the time. We were anly missing some vegetable for breakfast. Hotel has good location and you have close by Italian restaurant, restaurant in hotel and also KFC

Convenient and modern

Liked: Modern, clean, good breakfast, free and secure parking, professional staff. If you're looking for a hotel near Lyon, this is a great choice. Only minutes from Villeurbanne, you won't be subject to all the emission rules and expensive parking which make staying in the city itself so difficult.

Very good

Liked: Every day the room was cleaned. The staff was cooperative. Relatively close to tram stop.
Disliked: There was ongoing renovation, but in next weeks this will be a positive.

Disliked: The beds weren’t very comfortable.
