Good
Liked: They quickly moved me to a different room as the first (in the basement) didn't get a WiFi signal. Nice and close to Victoria Station.
Disliked: Was given a room at the top, and the room was suitable for my needs. However, the position of the toilet gave me cramp! The sink didn't have a plug so made sure nothing fell down it.

As long as it is...
Liked: Very clean & tidy.Just 5 minutes walk from Victoria Coach station. There are window for some light (no view 'though).Early check-in at 2pm.
Disliked: The room is very small. My large luggage can only be half- opened next to the room door. I know there are no lift before book, and lucky for me to be just 1 floor from the Level Ground. But the stair is still narrow for taking large luggage together.I know the Wi-Fi is not good before book, and it's actually totally not working ( even if connected). So prepare your own mobile data plan. It's only close to the Coach station, not so close to Tube (10-15min walk). The good thing is the walk to the Tube looks much safer than most part of central London.

Ok to get your head...
Liked: Great location. Comfortable beds. Great shower
Disliked: After a long day sightseeing an absolute must is being able to charge your phone. Unfortunately 2 or 3 sockets in our room didn’t work

Experience of single rooms
Liked: Brilliant location for myself and a friend who checked into 2 single rooms- so close to station coming into London and leaving, and a 15 minutes pleasant walk to Tate Britain. We used our bus passes to get around during our stay and all bus stops to the places we wanted to visit were local and easy to reach/find on Google. The single rooms are very compact but had everything you needed, were quiet and the matresses were good quality and very comfortable (we were only there to sleep as had organised a packed itinerary). Very clean and configuration made the best use of the space in the eaves. Wi-fi was good too for emails and Google, though we didn't take devices other than our phones. The 2 staff on reception we met were friendly and efficient and there is a room to store bags after check-out (collect before 6pm) so we could have a day's sightseeing before leaving London. We arrived early expecting to store our bags before check in but they allowed us to wait 30 minutes to check into our rooms instead, which was very convenient and unexpected. One of us was vegan so we didn't avail ourselves of the breakfast (£7.50 ,menu on reception counter and looked a decent continental selection), but there was a nice vegan brasserie only a short walk from the hotel we used on our way back at night. We felt very safe both around the area and in the hotel (helpful to know if travelling as a solo woman)- a pleasant leafy area with streets of Georgian properties.
Disliked: Not disliked but may be useful to note: We were on the top (4th floor) and the stairs are steep and not wide (though receptionist did ask if we would like help with our bags). It's a Georgian period town house so lifts are not to be expected but anyone with difficulties climbing stairs need to be aware when booking. I was also a little concerned about the deposit which the hotel quite sensibly asked for to safeguard them against damage and noisy guests, as in my room there was an existing small hole in the carpet under the hair drier from someone standing the hot end down instead of in the holder, and hairline cracks in a bathroom tile, and after I returned home I thought I perhaps should have checked at reception they were aware. I might also mention no USB plugs in the rooms we had so if booking an adapter plug should be packed.

Poor
Liked: The room was average and clean. The location was ideal
Disliked: The staff were rude on arrival. Our check-in time was 13.30. We didn't arrive until 14.45. They asked if we could come back because maintenance was in the room we were allocated. When I said we couldn't as we had reservations and needed to get changed, etc. She was very rude. Also the bed was not even a double sized bed. It was a small double. Me and my partner had an awful night's sleep. Not great when you book sightseeing tours for early morning amd have to be up amd out early.
