Good stay and more affordable...

Liked: Lovely fitness facilities and very, very quiet. Good restaurants nearby. Near the train, which makes it easy to get to Central Berlin and near the airport, but also in a neighborhood, so it's not devoid of character.
Disliked: A little far from Central Berlin by car or train, making it less convenient. The smell was a little like sewage in the room. Odd and off-putting at first. The Internet was off and on a couple of times, but nothing too challenging, and it could have been my computer (I was there for work). They could use some blackout or better curtains for the sun, but I slept with eyeshades on.
