Airdeny Chalets

Pleasant, great location, friendly owners.

Liked: Great location, nicely situated in nature, a little off the beaten track but close to Oban (about a 20 minute drive).
Disliked: The houses are a bit outdated but everything is more or less is working.

Liked: The scenery was beautiful. Very peaceful area and our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and it was nice having the patio area to sit out. Would love to go back. Highly recommend.
Disliked: We were happy with everything. No complaints.

Liked: The chalets were well equipped, easy to find with google maps and our host Constanza came out meet us, took us to the chalet and gave us a brief descriptions of where everything was.We had a very warm welcome with a plate of home baked blueberry muffins. Answered all our queries and recommended some restaurants with good veggie options.

Liked: Location was very good, peaceful yet within easy driving of Oban and wonderful countrysideThe bed linen and towels were spotless and good quality. The chalet was very clean, and the owners welcoming. The water was really TOO hot, especially if children are using it on their own.
Disliked: There is a big drainage problem just outside JM Barrie chalet which did not look good, and appeared to be a long standing problem. I understand the owners are waiting to get this fixed. Minimal, basic kitchen equipment ( no oven glove, only 2 mugs, no baking trays or oven tray. 1/2 J cloth, - took us ages to work out how to use the washing up liquid dispenser !!!)

Liked: The location and size were perfect for us, we have the chalets in total as a family and it worked really well. The chalets were clean and the furniture was generally comfortable. Especially great - we had 2 toddlers and there was very little I had to drag them away from, so pretty child-proof. The owner also brought over some amazing blueberry muffins!
Disliked: The beds were a bit uncomfy in our cabin.

Great place for a quiet...

Liked: The location was quiet. The house was spotlessly clean and there was great wifi and TV channels available. Shop was close enough and we were about 25 mins from Oban.
