Liked: Having an a la carte breakfast included was wonderful. The restaurant is a bit small so sometimes finding a table was challenging but the quality of the breakfast made up for this. Definitely not your average continental breakfast. The location was amazing- as an ex-Sydneysider I had never really spent much time in Pyrmont, but it had so much charm and so close to lots of public transport and activities.
Disliked: My MIL is a heavy smoker and although she never smoked in the room, the hotel attempted to charge a $300 cleaning fee due to the lingering smell from her clothes and the fact that they found used cigarette butts (after she had smoked outside and had nowhere else to dispose of them) in the trash. I eventually talked them out of the charge, but it left a bit of a damper on the experience- so be warned if you stay here and are a smoker/have a smoker in your group.

Excellent boutique hotel experience

Liked: Very friendly staff. Rooms very smaller but very well appointed and comfortable for a solo. The bar was very stocked and restaurant food delicious.

Liked: The location is fantastic. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Particularly liked the rituals shower gel and hand soap! Comfy bed.
