I am mortified to have spent three nights here. The website completely misrepresented this place as a hotel, not a hostel. We were to have a queen bed, and we had a full at best for two people. No hot water. No amenities. Dirty. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Talk about putting a damper on our trip to Outside Lands. We were certainly looking to save money but never would have believed that this place could stay open and charge people any amount of money to stay there. Should be ashamed.

Liked: The location of the hotel was very nice. We walked important areas easyl.
Disliked: A lot of homeless people around were, it was sad to see them.

Liked: Great location to attend a conference at the Moscone center. Owners are kind and family owned and rooms are clean
Disliked: At night, the area nearby is not particularly safe, but I felt very safe inside the hotel and had no concerns about my belongings.

Convenient but uncomfortable

Liked: It’s very close to the main shopping district and to public transport. It’s also easy to walk to Chinatown.
Disliked: It sits on the outskirts of the tenderloin which if you don’t know San Francisco is an area where there are a lot of people living on the streets. It was very dirty near the hotel and sometimes felt unsafe. The hotel is fine if you don’t mind having the basics but the facilities are pretty average. Staff are nice and friendly

Liked: The place is old but it is well kept up and it looks like they are making upgrades and improvements. The staff was excellent.It was good location and the price was right. I gotckean towels daily. It would have been nice if they offered some type of breakfast but I can be sure I am looking at this for my next SF trip
Disliked: Thwy were very friendly and helped when they could
