Poor - 1 out of 5

I am mortified to have spent three nights here. The website completely misrepresented this place as a hotel, not a hostel. We were to have a queen bed, and we had a full at best for two people. No hot water. No amenities. Dirty. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Talk about putting a damper on our trip to Outside Lands. We were certainly looking to save money but never would have believed that this place could stay open and charge people any amount of money to stay there. Should be ashamed.

Liked: Avoid at all costs. This place is ridiculous.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The room I had was massive, the TV has a lot of channels, the shower works, the bed is quite comfy! The hotel location is central and near public transport.
Disliked: The lobby and elevator are super dated, it?s like a time capsule hotel, I enjoyed this in the end but at first it was a bit odd. The location although central is near to the tenderloin and the problems from there have spilled out, as a woman traveling alone I was quite apprehensive for the first few days but I haven?t had any issues, but it?s definitely a place to keep your wits about you.

'Don't waste your time looking...

Liked: What breakfast, a donut, which you felt guilty asking!
Disliked: The room smelt stale and old! The hotel is in a homeless area, with many living on the streets near the hotel. Undesirable dealings taking place across the road from the hotel. Room not serviced on Sundays! Very noisy, 911 vehicles constantly going past. TV did not work properly. Room hot and stuffy!!!

Complete disappointment

Liked: Other than the location, even though it?s not exactly the best one, due to Thor nbr of junkies around, there was nothing else appealing.
Disliked: the establishment didn?t really live up to expectations considering how much it?s charging for its rooms. The pictures are deceiving, the interior is quite dated, it doesn?t offer the comfort and amenities you?d expect from a hotel and so it shouldn?t even be called that, probably more like an Inn. Also the room was facing off to the main street and the windows aren?t properly insulated so you get all the street noise even on the 6th floor, particularly at night !
