Passable

Liked: Area was good. Close to shopping.
Disliked: Room was musty and needed to be cleaned. We could smell the must from outside before we opened the door. The walls were dirty and needed to be scrubbed and painted. Room had so much moisture in it that the sheets were wet from the moisture in the air. They dried when we slept but were wet again by afternoon. Staff was very nice and responsive. When we told her about the must and wet sheets, she immediately found a dehumidifier and set it up. That helped a lot and was able to dry the sheets.

Solid OK-Not Terrible-Not Great!

Liked: The property is cute, it is older, but quaint. We liked the layout of the room. It had a front bedroom with a TV and a small sofa, it had a double bed, that bed had something off with it one side of the bottom was higher than the other side and one side of the top was lower than everything else, idk what it was, back room had queen bed and it was fine. I liked the separate bedrooms, had a full small kitchen with stove and a small table. bathroom was ok. I think it had WiFi but we never were able to get it to work properly, we just used our phones, also that was ok for what we were there for. This was literally no frills all, very basic, just the necessities, no decor, no modern desks, phone ports, etc, etc. also fine for what we were visiting for. The walls and floors not the cleanest, at all. However, the bathroom, beds, linens, kitchen, etc were clean. The furniture is extremely dated, just the absolute bare basics, but functional so also no biggie. It is in a quiet location and there are restaurants, stores etc close. The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly, accommodating, check in was very easy, parking is good. The manager lives on-site so that was reassuring. No carpet, which was great! It was cute, I prefer the Marriot or the Hilton but admittedly, I like amenities and bell and whistles but if you do not care for all that and want a clean room, with just what you need, the basics, do not mind plain and dated, could use some paint on walls and ceilings, with a good location, this is it! It is budget friendly and bare in mind this is exactly what you are getting a clean basic room, not modern, plain, rooms could use updating and some paint, but it is good for what it is and for the money. Was definitely not for me but definitely not a miserable or bad experience at all either. Definitely did not love it and definitely did not hate was firmly at it's ok!
Disliked: They have very specific check in hours and if you are coming several hours away, with the traffic on the way and in the area, this was a little stressful. I had to work the day we left so trying to time it all was cumbersome, if you know you can not commit to an early daytime check in, this would be an issue. If you can leave early in the day, no problem. The lady in the office was wonderful. I am not sure if people reside there or is some sort of extended stay, but it does have outside access to your rooms and there were always people sitting outside of their room doors, on the breeze way or around the sidewalks and hanging out outside at the tables or walking around. I saw no questionable activity and people were friendly, we were a mother and a teen so it was just a little unnerving for us, but that is a personal bias. We stayed in the back room to sleep and while there was a large TV in there and it did turn on, it had no sort of service connected to it. There was a much smaller TV in the living/bedroom in the front but it hung in a corner at the head of the bed, so you would need to sit at the tiny sofa and watch TV, it did have cable. Something was wrong with that bed so it was hard to lay in and the way the TV is positioned you could not lay there really and watch TV unwind at night. It did have a heavy cleaning smell, which I suppose is better than the alternatives :) so not mad at that! First night, I was a woman alone with a teen dtr so I was extremely nervous with the outside access so probably not the best personal choice for me to have peace of mind but no one bothered us, we had no issues, I chose it because I had trouble finding a two room suite and husband did follow the next day. The residents or guests outside and about were very nice and probably just getting outside of their rooms. If I had been there on business or for work, I think it may have been challenging just was not really set up or designed for that.
