Wonderful, cozy place to stay!

Liked: The location is great since it’s right down the road from the hot springs. The property was clean and cozy. It was also a very affordable price.

Low price reflects the low...

Liked: The room was fairly clean, and had newer refrigerator and a full-sized gas stove and oven. It would be good for a family, because it had a separate bedroom, as well as a queen-sized bed in the living room.
Disliked: The location was pinned as being directly across from the hot pools on main street, but was in fact, located off of an alley several blocks down. The exterior had no lawn (as in the photos), and wasn't somewhere most people would want to hang out. The interior was clean, but worn and run-down. Carpet (including in the bathroom was stained and dirty, holes in the walls, counters were chipped, and bed sagged.

Loved it! Would come back...

Liked: The room was big and had a ton of space. It was very comfortable. We thought we were getting a small little 1 bed, 1 bath and got upgraded to a much bigger space. Very great value for the money.
Disliked: The room is old and could be cleaned better or remodeled. There are random pipes out in the open that we had to keep our kids away from.

Liked: The only real bonus, sincerely, my grandbabies were here. Also, Marley was wonderful to work with... I feel with some deep cleaning, some updates and just overall attention, this little place would be worth the 160 a night. Again, I can't say enough good things about Marley. She was a doll. I had booked the wrong dates and she was so incredibly helpful with changing my dates...
Disliked: The heater had a malfunction and we woke up to it 50 degrees in our room, which when i wiggled the small electrical lead it actually came on!!! I had to plunger the bathroom sink. There were hairs in the sheets so we slept in our sleeping bags. There was a giant mud puddle in front of the entrance and I used my personal shovel and filled it with gravel from the parking lot. The microwave had crusty food around the inside of the door. Very outdated. Very. Carpet in the bathroom! To top it off, some creature was scratching in the wall. The one picture of some hanging rack is above the front door?????

Hidden gem in Lava Hot...

Liked: The room we rented was actually an apartment that accommodates 8 people. Best kept secret in Lava. I will definitely be going back to for another stay.
