I had an enjoyable stay

Liked: I went to a concert at the Lions Art Factory and it was just down the road from the motel, I regularly stay with the Riviera Hotel
Disliked: I was happy with everything

The high wall directly outside...

Liked: Room was a good size with tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary biscuits. Bathroom and shower also a good size with fluffy towels.
Disliked: My family and I booked into rooms 215 and 216 during the evening. Our stay was for 2 nights. When we awoke we found our rooms had a spectacular view of a wall with a little light coming in from the top of the wall one storey above us. We did wonder if we had been put in these rooms at night time so we were unable to see the wall. I suppose there was no danger of lack of privacy. Hot water in the shower was very hard to regulate. Bathroom basin was in very poor condition with cracked/crazed surface.

Great location for price

Liked: Location is great, located on north Terrace with tram stop directly opposite. 5-10 mins walk to Rundle mall.Room was nice, perfect for a couple who are in and out. Facilities in the room were good, nice comfy bed, big shower and bathroom. It’s a shame there’s no coffee shop or restaurant on site but there are plenty around within walking distance. Car parking on site but at an additional cost perhaps that could be combined in your room rate if you do need to park. Otherwise lovely stay for our busy weekend.
