Pleasant

Liked: Location, dog friendly, value, beautiful art on wall.
Disliked: Room was dark and unwelcoming, scummy shower, broken wooden blind. Carpet had water damage and was misshapen, tripping hazard for older people. It was supposed to be a room upgrade, yet it felt like a downgrade.

Liked: Pet friendly
Disliked: Booked and paid for room but reception closed at arrival and they wanted to charge above the advertised price for pet to say. I would not recommend this option as they are not particularly honest

Good

Liked: Good sized room and TV.Lots of hanging and storage space. Everything was very clean. Lobby is very attractive. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: TV was temperamental, and the remote kept seizing up.Communal kitchen facilities were deficient in crockery, glsssware, cutlery, plug, and tea towels.. The bed was soft.

Excellent value in a heritage...

Liked: Spacious comfortable rooms that are good value. Ample communal space including kitchens if you wanted to cook yourself or have breakfast there
Disliked: The communal kitchens could do with tea towels and a few more mugs
