Not a top notch experience

Liked: Location was good. Metro was close.
Disliked: The staff did not seem particularly helpful when we had a question. Room had no window to the exterior so it was quite dark. Room temperature could only be controlled by a call to the front desk, which seemed odd and inconvenient. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of water available in the room. When we asked for another, they wanted to charge us $3 which seemed petty. Booking.com showed they had an airport shuttle, but when we asked about it they said they had no shuttle but could call us a cab. We asked for a restaurant recommendation one afternoon, and they pointed us to a restaurant a few doors down from the hotel. When we went there that evening, we needed a reservation which the hotel staff did not bother mentioning nor did they bother offering to call and make a reservation. Just too many things that prevent me from recommending this hotel. Would not choose it again.

Liked: The room was really comfortable and with good space. Very good location. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Small TV, with no option to stream from a phone. We couldn't sleep well as we heard some snoring from the room next to ours.

Good location, clean, would come...

Liked: The location is walking distance to all the main attractions, yet not in a noisy area. The room is just large enough to fit our beds and a small table, but that was expected and reasonable. The housekeeping staff is very thoughtful and they go the extra mile. For example, we left the DND tag one day and they made sure to leave extra towels in front of the door just in case. We felt safe as the reception desk controls who can enter the locked premises at night.
Disliked: The usage of A/C requires a trip to the reception desk. If their opinion is that A/C can be used weighing in the outside temperature, they might turn it on. Outside the hotel is a hotspot for food delivery people who hang out, listen to music, play cards, talk. Not too loud and I know the hotel can't do anything about it, but it's worth noting that they are audible.
