Liked: Fantastic hostel. Really nice location, very comfortable rooms and mattresses, great kitchen and common area. The staff was very friendly and helpful! There is no wifi but they offer some help if you need to look something up. Would definitely come back!

All good but a shame...

Liked: Tasteful interieur with nice colours in it. Nice pictures on walls. My dorm was divided in 4 cubicles each 2 beds and with curtain to draw for privacy. Fantastic. My cubicle slightly too cold but could use a duvet from other open bed. Pillow comfortable. Staff, Steven, very friendly, supportive, helpfull. Bathroom and facilities and dorm, dining room and kitchen neat and clean. Thank you.
Disliked: All was good.

Best Hostel ever!!!

Liked: Stew was the best host I've ever had at any Youth Hostel or holiday accommodation! He gave us a very warm welcome after our long drive through the highlands and had the wood fire burning so we could get dry and warm immediately.The rooms were incredibly well kept and clean and we were so impressed by his attitude and ability to make us feel right at home!The white sand beaches were the cherry on top to this fabulous experience
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to comment here!

Liked: Stew went the extra mile to take care of us. So accommodating and helpful around our needs (helped us with drying our wetsuits, booked our next accommodation for us, he was genuinely interested in us having the best possible stay and took extra care to make this happen). Knowledgable about the local area and full of good advice and practical tips.

Very good

Liked: Beautiful secluded location with a fish and chip shop 5mins walk
Disliked: Our room was next door to the communal toilet therefore everytime someone used it we heard the incredibly loud flushing system

Great stay, doesn't feel like...

Liked: Great location and staff. Staff were attentive and nice, super informative and accommodating. Individual curtained rooms allowed for sufficient privacy for a shared room. Very comfy and very warm for a autumn stay. Good social areas with a wood-burner meant it felt very sheltered from the elements. Beds were surprisingly comfy for bunk beds, shower was great. Very safe.
Disliked: Location is single track to access and the car park has potholes everywhere.
