The Spotlight on Ace Hotel Seattle

Stylish, Minimalist Vibes in the Heart of Belltown

Modern and effortlessly cool, Ace Hotel Seattle is tucked into the artsy Belltown neighborhood—just a short walk from downtown Seattle and iconic spots like Pike Place Market. Housed in a historic building, this boutique hotel blends industrial-chic style with a laid-back, creative energy that’s perfect for music lovers looking to crash somewhere cool after a show.
Rooms are minimalist but comfy, with free WiFi and mini-bars. Some have shared bathrooms, while others offer private options—great for travelers with different budgets. Just note: there’s no elevator, so pack light if you’re heading up to the lobby via stairs.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is a favorite among music fans thanks to its walkable location to Seattle’s top concert venues like The Crocodile, Moore Theatre, and Climate Pledge Arena. It’s close enough to walk home after a late-night encore, yet far enough from the main drag to offer a peaceful night’s sleep. Plus, the early check-out at 6:00 AM means you can grab a flight or hit the road early without hassle.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want a stylish, affordable base near the music scene
  • Solo travelers crossing artists off their bucket list
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans seeking a quiet space to unwind after the show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want a stylish stay

Food and Drink Options

You’ll find great walkable eateries just steps from the hotel, thanks to its Belltown location. While there’s no on-site restaurant or room service, the shared breakfast room is a solid perk—especially if you’re recovering from a late night out. Grab coffee and breakfast before hitting the city again.

Nightlife Options

The Belltown neighborhood is packed with bars, lounges, and music clubs, many within a few blocks. Whether you're chasing more live music or just want a nightcap, options are close and varied. The hotel itself doesn’t host live music, but you won’t have to go far to find some.

What People Say

Guests love the unique style and creative vibe of the Ace Hotel Seattle. Many mention its prime location for walking to shows, exploring downtown, or hitting Pike Place. Rooms are described as simple yet comfortable, and the staff gets high marks for friendliness. Travelers also appreciate the value for money in a pricey city.

Areas for Improvement

If stairs aren’t your thing, the lack of an elevator could be a downside—especially with luggage after a long night. Some guests also mention the shared bathrooms as a minor inconvenience, so consider booking a private-bathroom room if that’s a concern.

The Bottom Line

Ace Hotel Seattle offers affordable style and unbeatable walkability—a top pick for concert-goers wanting to stay close to the music without missing out on character or comfort.

Disliked: It’s close by to a club so you might listen to the outside music

Not Your Conventional Hotel

Liked: The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: There is no elevator and check in is upstairs. No close parking provided. You have to find your own and hope you get lucky to find something within a block or two. Was also a lot of loud noise as it is in downturn Seattle.

Very good

Liked: The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. In the future I would prefer a room away from the front desk as the people checking in and out were noisy.

Cheaper stay downtown Seattle, with...

Liked: Overall had a great stay here. I was a bit apprehensive about not having a bathroom in my room, but the bathrooms were aplenty, close to my room and were very clean and comfortable. There was a bit of noise outside, but they provided earplugs which was great. The room had a desk which was awesome, a sink which came in handy for teeth brushing and washing hands, a queen bed and a view of the street below. Staff were very friendly and continental breakfast/coffee/tea was included which is always nice. Being a Canadian, it was a little expensive because our dollar sucks, but it was right next to the concert venue I was going to which was super handy. Would def. stay here again.
