Overpriced for what you get

Liked: The location of the Emily is unbeatable if you are there for North Loop scene.
Disliked: The room was small and rundown, weird layout, burns and marks on the wood. It was hard to find a place to rest your suitcase without having it in the middle, and the sink was outside the bathroom, so if you got up in the night you woke up the entire room. We visited the upstairs bar after dinner one night for a nightcap, the staff was having a ball... hanging out together. They seemed annoyed about guests in general and even picking on guests behind their back. This reflects poorly on the management (or lack of it).

Liked: Location was excellent for where I need d to be in the city. Staff was super friendly and responsive. The room was clean and comfortable. All for a price that was cheaper than other hotels in the area.
