Ace is a beautiful hotel...

Liked: 1. A lot of hotels known for their decor have a beautiful lobby but rooms that look like motel rooms. Not so the Ace! The design and decor is consistent, and consistently beautiful throughout the hotel.2. Also, there is a DJ or other entertainment in the common area most every night. We enjoyed it, but if you don't like such things I should tell you it we couldn't hear it at all in our room (5th floor). 3. Finally the restaurant was quite good. The breakfast menu is limited but well done, plus they are willing to customize your request.
Disliked: 1. The plumbing was bad. The toilet wouldn't flush and it was hard to get help with it. The flow in the shower was low.2. There is no coffee or coffee maker in the room and the restaurant doesn't open until 7, so if you need coffee early you must take a walk down the street. There is green tea in the honor bar, not free.3. Getting into the hotel in the first place was difficult. Most 4 star hotels either provide parking or have valet parking. Ace has neither. We phoned and asked what to do; they said to double park and they would come out and get our bags. My friend checked us in while I drove around figuring out what to do with the car.

Liked: The location is close to some very good restaurants, an interesting mall with a good food plaza.
Disliked: Storage space for clothes could have been better and larger.
