We loved everything about this...

Liked: We booked one of the special disabled rooms, no 103, the room was very spacious, plenty of room to have both wheelchair and mobility scooter in the room. The bathroom was excellent- the best we have had for people of reduced mobility- a proper large seat in the wet room style shower, the seat had handles which is a really good feature.The basin was high level so that a wheelchair can go underneath. There were plenty of hooks on the wall and the back of the door for towels and dressing gowns etc. there was a night table each side of the bed with a light, the bed was very wide and sooo comfortable! We had a large window which opened easily and there were trees nearby with lots of birds singing. The window had a bespoke black out blind slotted in so it fits very closely and made the room completely dark for a good sleep- so much better than most hotels!The room was right next to the lift so very handy.Breakfast was a reasonable price at 8.50€ and everything had you need, we find often the breakfast buffets cost 16€ or so and have more choice than we need and so is expensive, the Ace Hotel breakfast was well laid out, coffee and juice was good quality, plenty of fresh baguettes, nice jams, croissants, pain au chocolates, cereals, fruit, cheese, ham etc. All the people on reception were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The only issue we had was on arrival we were allocated a room which wasn’t the special disability specification room that we had booked - and had the facilities confirmed on several emails ( seat in shower, wall handles by toilet etc,)However, the chap on reception was very quick to rearrange the occupants of a disabled room to swap with ours, so no harm done.

Great hotel and staff. Really...

Liked: The room was clean and well looked after. It was amazingly quite. The staff were very helpful, polite and there was always someone on the reception.
Disliked: It would have been nice if some of the TV channels were in English and the mattress a little more firmer.

Excellent budget hotel

Liked: We were looking for a basic, clean and comfortable place to sleep for our family of 6. This was great. It is very basic but the bed was very comfortable and the reception when we arrived was great.
Disliked: Nothing

Passable

Great for an overnight stop...

Liked: A late arrival after a long journey and greeted by a friendly member of staff. Room was comfortable and clean, suited us perfectly for an overnight stay to then get up early and continue our journey.
Disliked: Nothing
