Liked: Loved the lobby, room and restaurant decor. Room was clean and in close proximity to the pool.
Disliked: Doors to the rooms slam if guests don’t close the door carefully, causing us to wake up during the night as our neighbor came and went.

New Look

Liked: Apparently there is new management and I can tell! A few renovations have been made since I was last there and I think it looks great. Wasn't a fan of having to purchase chairs and daybeds when you are staying there, but I guess that is standard at fancier hotels. The free ones were in the sun and my husband can't be in the sun for too long (bummer). However, the young lady Viviana who was our server was so sweet and nice and provided such great customer service that at that point I didn't mind paying for the chairs anymore lol. She recommended drinks and was so attentive. As for the check-in, Marty assisted us. He was really friendly too and took the time to show my husband some merch. The new Amigo Room is really nice and well done. I wish I would have spent more time in there. The hotel pool had a good DJ playing good tunes that weren't basic or too loud. That was def a plus. The room we got had a patio and close to the pool, so that was nice. The bed was so comfty and cozy. I love the room decor. Always a pleasure and will be back obv.

Disliked: That we had to pay for shade around the pool area. The paid area was empty but had the most shade - it's too hot to not be in the shade!! 😔 Other than this everything else is excellent
