Liked: Until i was checking out, I hadn't seen anyone. that said, the check-in and communication were absolutely fine and the staff were very helpful.

A beautiful, quiet and cozy...

Liked: They had coffee available, and a discount at a cafe down the street.
Disliked: It's on the second floor, which I did not understand when I arrived. I could not find the number at street level, and then found it on the second floor. I had to haul my luggage up the exterior staircase to get to my room. Once there, everything was lovely. I got some emails from them through Booking.com, but it looked like it was a document pasted in, and was too small to read. I encourage future travelers to reach out to the hotel directly. They are very responsive.

Liked: Large comfortable room opposite a really nice park. Walking distance to cool neighbourhood around Ave du Mont Royal with good food and drink options.
Disliked: No face-to-face contact with the owner so felt very impersonal. 20 mins walk to metro with buses not very regular.
