Accommodation at Salomons Estate

I will definitely be rebooking...

Liked: Excellent value for money. The grounds were amazing and well kept. Staff were cordial and genuinely interested in you and your well being.
Disliked: My bed was a bit on the small side.

Disliked: No dinner or bar available after 3pm

Liked: Breakfast superb. Wonderful and varied choice.Staff were friendly and attentive.The grounds were fantastic.
Disliked: Net curtains for my room would be appreciated, as it was on the ground floor right by the entrance door.Noisy cistern running for some time between 4-5 am kept me awake.

Superb and I would recommend...

Liked: Everything was great and it was a great rural area to stay in, breakfast the room the grounds, wow!!
Disliked: I know that sadly this is personal taste and is unfortunate but should not in any way detract from an excellent stay - I just found the bed too hard for me sadly!

Lovely ground and location, but...

Liked: The Salomans Estate was lovely, very grand upon arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great in the main building. Good location
Disliked: We didn't pay much for our room so expected it to be cheap and cheerful, and it really was. The bathroom felt a bit like a hospital bathroom, the bedroom was very basic. It all needs a bit of a refurb - but you get what you pay for I guess.

A good place to stay...

Liked: The cottage was well located for the places we were visiting, safe and secure with parking. 3 separate rooms were appreciated for 3 friends staying together. Kitchen, seating areas and bathrooms were lovely.
Disliked: One of the rooms was really tiny even for one person with very little space beside the bed and poor lighting. Other two rooms good size but quite noisy from the adjacent road. Double glazing would help. Also the boiler was noisy in the night.
