Liked: Room was designed lovely to suit the size of the room. Breakfast was amazing and timings still allowed a slow morning. Staff was very friendly and advisable. Great location
Disliked: As it was a warm weekend we opened the window in our room to find some sort of blower which was quite noisy

Liked: It was a great place to stay with a good price-quality ratio. The room was small, but clean and well equipped. Location is also convenient, you can walk to the main attractions in the city centre. I would recommend this hotel.
Disliked: A small fridge in the room would be useful. Everything else was perfect!

Disliked: On arrrival we were asked to pay in advance for our room and we paid by credit card, the member of staff who checked us in was very helpful. However when we returned late afternoon a handwritten note was pushed under our door whilst we were in the room. It said words to the effect of 'Good morning, would you please call at reception to pay for your stay' The 'Good Morning' led us to believe that the message was intended for the previous occupants of the room. We went down to reception to sort this apparent mistake out prior to us meeting friends in the restaurant. We were told that we had not paidfor our accommodation and that there was no trace of our payment on the hotel's system. My wife returned to our room to seek a payment receipt only to find that our door keys had been blocked. I asked that new room cards be issued and that I would sort the matter out the following morning. I talked to the duty manager who was unhelpful. Throughout the encounter we were treated with obvious suspicion bordering on hostility. The following morning we paid our bill once again to the same member of staff, who was very apologetic and helpful. The payment had not gone through because of human error on the hotel's part. I fully accept that it was entirely reasonable to chase up our payment, but wholly unacceptable to block our room kays prior to talking the situation through with us, nor was the suspicious attitude of some of your reception staff and duty manager acceptable. We will not be using your hotel again and neither will any of our staff.

Liked: We enjoyed the location and ability to walk to sights nearby. The breakfast was hearty. The room clean and quiet. Staff wonderful.
