It occupies the former 14th-century Casa Morisco and 16th-century Santa Paula Convent with its impressive cloister. Exceptional

Liked: Very centrally located hotel in Granada. The staff was exceptional and always willing to help with any need (taxis, dinner recommendations, etc). The bar was fantastic with the best Sangria we had in all of our Spanish travel. Breakfast was outstanding with a great central courtyard (shaded). This was a rather expensive property relative to other properties that we visited on this multi-city trip but the staff went above and beyond. Although it was located on a busy street, the room was very quiet.
Disliked: Price was high relative to other properties

I would not stay here...

Liked: Location good
Disliked: We arrived into a very loud wedding event - the ‘cocktail tail’ bar boasted in reviews was non functional and the few staff were clearly overwhelmed with wedding that other guests and service was poor - I have mentioned all of this to Marriott who have not yet responded-

Superb hotel with beautiful courtyard,...

Liked: The courtyard for drinks or a delicious breakfast is superb. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is very comfortable. The staff are also very helpful. The hotel’s location is also excellent.
Disliked: Nothing - everything was great.

Is not worth the money...

Liked: The rooms and space were clean.
Disliked: For a hotel that claims to be 5 stars, this did not meet expectations. A "superior" room had basically two twin beds pushed together and little space. The wifi never worked, and the options for food on site were exceptionally minimal and overpriced. This hotel is extremely overpriced for the value delivered.
