AC Hotel by Marriott Sants

Correct for one night stay,...

Liked: Super close to the station, the best part. A good thing is that, if you are just spending a night there and need to go somewhere for dinner, you can go to Plaça d’Osca, just behind, where you can find lots of very good local places for tapas dinner, very convenient.
Disliked: Nothing went wrong as such with the visit, but the general atmosphere and set up of the hotel is one which seems to be targeted for very short term stays (one or two nights). I had read about it in other reviews and agree. In our case we paid quite a lot, probably due to the dates, and it feels a little missing for the price. (Breakfast not included, cafe in the hotel doesn’t seem to have anything but sandwiches, no room service). Once again, nothing wrong, but price and brand may mislead you on what to expect.

Great location if you need...

Liked: Locaction, location, location. 3 minutes walk from the train station
Disliked: extremely long check-in process. It took almost 30 minutes to do the process. We had been traveling all day and were extremely tired and this made it even harder

Loved the hotel

Liked: Customer service was amazing, the room was nice; we did not really eat any food there and the coffee was okay.
Disliked: The coffee

Great accommodation and great location

Liked: The location for us was perfect, since we needed to catch a train soon after check-out. The Barcelona Saints train station is across the road from the hotel.
Disliked: There was nothing that we did not like.(I wish to bring to management´s attention that the basin tap needs attention)

Excellent hotel on the walking...

Liked: Breakfast was of good quality, however there should be more vegetarian options. Hotel is close to Barcelona Sants that makes it suitable for overnight stay when you are traveling in the morning via the airport or on the Renfe trains.
Disliked: Ongoing construction around the Barcelona Sants has made the walk to the hotel a bit complicated.

Good to stay in when...

Liked: Good location and convenient public transportation. The Barcelona Bus Tourist - Red line is only one minute away on foot.
Disliked: Shower water always turns hot or cold quite suddenly. don’t know the reason.
