Liked: Brand new and the staff was amazing! The room was really not for me but that’s not to say it was bad. It really is a beautiful hotel.

Liked: What a superb hotel!!! Far exceeded my expectations for this type of lodging. It has a pool and a gym and custom made breakfasts, along with some of the best croissants in the US. The room was quiet and clean; the bathroom (especially the shower) well designed and the staff extremely helpful and couerteous (especially the ladies in the breakfast room). Lots of free parking available. I shall stay here in my future visits to the Portland area.

Everything was perfect.
Liked: The breakfast was wonderful and the variety was impressive. Your staff has been amazing during this difficult time and so appreciated. My husband was taken to the hospital while we were guests and your staff including Ms. Kaohelaulii was so supportive. Thank you.

Other than my bad experience...
Liked: The location was great, the price was reasonable since it included a cold breakfast. When I found out that my breakfast would be charged 15$ each day, I went to the front desk to explain my problem. That’s where I met Cory, truly the worst customer service rep I have met in 40+ years of travel. He fixed me with an unfriendly cold eyed stare as I explained my situation. Finally I asked to speak to the manager John. He called me, mentioned adjustments to my stay. Great. The next morning I ran into Cory again.. Before breakfast I wanted to make sure that my adjustments were in place. Cory gave me the stare. Then with an exasperated expression, he consented to check the computer. “Nothing here Mr. Carter.” Again the stare. I finally just walked away. Disgusted. Too bad, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I suggest a different position for Cory….one where he does not interact with your paying customers.
