Liked: The location was perfect. Very close to the tram and bus stops and right by the promenade. Couple of restaurants and bakerys in the area as well. Rooms were decent and comfortable as well.
Disliked: A fully closed and lockable bathroom door is a minimum expectation for a hotel of this price point.Noise insulation is quite poor for the rooms.

Ok, but improvements needed

Liked: Good location, hotel is nice inside design wise. Staff at the reception were quite friendly and did help to look after our bags etc for us
Disliked: Breakfast is not worth it, I complained on every day of our stay that the hot food was in face cold and I mean cold. Pool was shut, but website and booking.com says it's open from April, it's not, it's open from May onwards. This also meant the bar / restaurant were closed too so it lacks facilities during our stay.

Disappointed about loud construction and...

Liked: Breakfast was delicious
Disliked: We felt baited because the hotel was under construction and the pool which was our main attraction was not available. We would not have booked had we known that.

A few things amiss right...

Liked: Proximity to sea excellent
Disliked: 1. Roof top bar, pool and restaurant closed for renovation, my reason for booking this hotel based on my excellent experience at AC Malaga. 2. Building noise reverberating from before 9am x 2 mornings 3. Bathroom towels are very old, thin, and discoloured because of their age. 4. Dreadful hairdryer for most women .. way to hot on full and way too slow on only other setting. Awkward to use as attached to wall.
