Accommodation was 5 star; staff were welcoming and friendly; breakfast was the best ever and the room was cleaned to high standard and very complimentary.

Liked: Everything from cleanliness, staff, breakfast and bar; nothing was too much for the staff - very welcoming.
Disliked: Hotel bar is a little pricey.

Consistency is key

Liked: Perfect location for media city, football and concerts. Very comfortable and welcoming as are all of the stays in various Marriott hotels in various cities... But worth noting very limited parking... Use a parking app and book somewhere nearby, we used a close by hotel for a similar price but again limited
Disliked: Booked alongside a friend, same price paid (£200+pn, presumably expensive due to events going on in MCR) and had different quality rooms. We lacked coffee making facilities, fridge contents including water whereas the other room was noted to have had the above plus soft and alcohol cans/bottles, whether it be complimentary (in this case) or not, the choice is nice. Water machines on floors would be good for all to use. Stayed at many Marriott hotels and there seems to be a lack of consistency sadly.

Better than expected and staff...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and the hotel was comfortable and clean
Disliked: Not a lot can't really think of anything apart from Gluten free sausages and toast

Disliked: Window of room would not open due to scaffolding. Room very warm - air con didn't seem to work very well. Staff were very helpful though and provided a fan. Bed small and not particularly comfortable. Room lacked comfort generally but was spacious.
