Disliked: Wooden floors in bedrooms. Carpets give a better atmosphere.

Liked: Location - staff - restaurant
Disliked: We were initially put in the building opposite the hotel main building which overlooked someone’s house very closely - my husband went straight to reception and complained - they were very apologetic and immediately offered us another room in main building which was much better with a view over the river

We enjoyed the stay which...

Liked: Very nice room and the lobby area including the bar very nice indeed. car parking area good, hotel location ideal. The staff were all nice and well trained.
Disliked: Although a reasonable variety of items at breakfast, the quality of the hot was not as good as we expected. All the hot items were contained in heavy pots with heavy lids and difficult to lift and lay down whilst spooning out the contents.I didn't like having to pay for parking my car in the car park.
